So, I listened to the second half by itself, so as to not be influenced by what I previously perceived as the better first half.

The second half is piff brehs, you were right. I just gotta listen to both half separately. They don't mesh well for me for whatever reason

Also, I love that this thread is still stickied

I now deem it "chill piff." I still feel that the first half is better. Track 11 still bugs the shyt out of me, if it was a better transition track (or a better track in general....:dead:), I think the two halves would flow together a lot better @Big Mel. It goes from dark sinister-ish on track 10 to mellow on 11 way too quickly. They shoulda been a faster or darker, but less dark than track 10, beat on there instead of what they did for the album.

I think it's because there's so many aggressive tracks back to back (Bomb, shytsville, Thuggin, Real, and Uno). Gibbs said he was actually mad and angry when he mad Uno), and then you go right into to Robes, Broken, Lakers, Knicks, and Shame. Those are all a little smoother and laid back. So there's like 5 super raw and aggressive joints in a row and then it smooths out, so I definitely could see why you don't think they mesh well.

I had a road trip to DC this weekend though and bumped it twice on the way up without skipping anything. I still love this album.

Knicks is really the only joint that would fit what you're describing IMO. And you gotta follow that with Lakers. So maybe after Uno go with Knicks, Lakers, Broken, Robes, Shame, and then Pinata? Or some order with Knicks and Lakers coming after Uno?

I think putting Knicks after Uno works well. I say get rid of that trash Robes song though. I still can't stand that shyt.

i seriously wish the album ended better lol. that beat is ass.

It's not a bad beat but it just gets old by the end, and there are a lot of sub-par verses. They could've cut the guests down (seriously, the album ends on a Mac Miller verse? :mindblown:) Or just have done some beat switches.

By the way, does anyone else think that Domo sounds like Currensy when he kicks off the first verse on the last track?
