Y'all really don't like Danny Brown on "High"? :dwillhuh:

That's probably my favorite cut off the album. Also, I personally think Gibbs and Danny have good chemistry together (see: "Return Of The Gangster" off Danny Brown's 'Old' album)
gibbs came through and took that beat from danny :lolbron:

Gonna cop the vinyl.

Easily an early candidate for rap album of the year. Can't get over how good it is.

Seeing Gibbs and Madlib do the album live made me like it even more. Instant classic.

Gibbs and Madlib hit us with a monster gem. Gets better with every listen for me

It doesn't overstay its welcome either. There are plenty of great albums that kind of get old after awhile. Most of the songs on this album are pretty short and sweet, to the point you can fukk around and listen to it all in no time. Last night I put on the album when I got into the bed, just to listen to a few tracks before sleeping. Before I knew it 20-30 minutes had passed and the album was almost over. In a flash, brehs.

I'm still gonna be listening to this in 3-6 months.

Heard the first half today..didnt like it..He's boring rapper and the beats are trash..no offense to the Stans

Can't see how anyone can say this, at all. Beats trash? :stopitslime:. I'm almost convinced you just said this to be different. I'll let you live though, album still fire to me.

Did the beats get better during the second half? Cuz I skimmed thru the first half and wasn't feeling em...

I honestly don't know what to tell you, if you dont like a beat like "Harold's" for example it's hard for me to say you're going to like anything. One thing I will say though, a skim never really allows you to get a good observation. It could mean the first 30 seconds of every track you listened to. Either way never a good way to judge an album.

yes. but dont skim the album. the songs you might not have felt during the skim will grow on you.

Look bro..I used to steal CDs back in the days..so I'm used to hearing hella music and recognizing if it was wack..it takes me 5 secs to skim thru a song to tell if it was trash or not..I could skim thru a CD in less than a min and throw it in the bushes..the fact that I even spent 5 mins listening to this trash album is fukking cray..
