Man I can't even get off of the beat used on Watts...and I have a shytload of Madlib but goddamn he never seems to disappoint...when you hear the detail behind his production..:ohlawd: for YEARS ive been listening to this nikkas shyt and it never is the same or gets old...

the one thing i have a love/hate feeling with madlib though is that he frequently will do an abstract ass beat thats 2:30 long and for the LAST 10-15 seconds he switches up the beat to the most :ohlawd: :blessed: and :to: worthy production that just leave you :dwillhuh:

EDIT: not that sarface is an abstract but the last 10 seconds or so goddamn man....

btw gibbs on this whole project :wow: shame was my shyt but this here :ohlawd:

EDIT 2: tanks for the rep breh @Ian1362

Finally got to sit down and :eat:

This entire album's on point, the production just carrying it to another level. It feels like listening to kno's production for oneirology, the shyt is on a different level from past projects and just matches up hand in hand like:whew:.

Gibb's flowing through it, and Uno got me head bobbing like a fiend in public.

highlights from Chicago:

madlib's favorite song off the album is Scarface

Big time watts played hypeman :lolbron:

Gibbs rips jeezy apart on Real (that and an encore performance of Eastside Moonwalker and Bfk were my favorite parts)

Gibbs is blacking out all over the album, the ending of shytsville was probably the best example of that

I didn't think the album would be carried by production before going to the show obviously because Gibbs is one of the best, but I thought the production would definitely be the highlight. After the show, Gibbs is definitely the highlight of the album. Madlib would randomly cut out the instrumental for an extended period and Gibbs would just destroy it acapella :wow:
:to: i wish i was there :to:

Ab-Soul's verse on Lakers is so :noah: to me even though I don't think its anything special, it just does it for me. I can't wait for his new album to drop, I need some new soul in my life.
