His shyt is an amalgamation of mid-90’s Chicago and Mid-West rappers. From Buk of Psychodrama, to Twista, to Crucial Conflict, to Bone, even D 2 tha S.
He’s paid some of them homage on records, the influence is clear when he finds himself on mid 90’s - early 2000’s style beats. This is what most 3rd or 4th generation rappers do.
So I guess you saying you don’t know many brehs. That BFK tape was played pretty regularly from hoods to black college campuses. There’s large threads every time the nikka drops an album or tape. I’m also in the Deep South, outside of time in service, I’ve lived in the south my whole life. That’s Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. I listen to key Glock, I’ve been listening to Yo Gotti since he just stopped being Lil Yo, Dlow can be fun sometimes, but I’m too old to limit myself to low effort ass music.
