Freddie Gibbs’ beef with Curren$y...

There's nothing weird about the thread and there's no narrative. "Beef" doesn't mean there has to be a street issue. But there is an issue and they not fukkin wit each other. Dude keeps sending shots and the only reason it doesn't go any further is because Curren$y is such a cool nikka. U can see all the bullshyt this goofy nikka has been getting himself into and see everything I said in this thread was right.

Never said it has to be a street issue, but it doesn't even sound like a rap issue. Compare the beef with Jeezy and Gibbs to this, and it's obvious there's really not much to this. Joe implied he has some kind of issue with Currensy. Is there a Joe Budden / Currensy beef? I would say no.

The narrative you've been trying to spin is that the issue is more serious than either side is taking it, and that Gibbs doesn't have a right to feel slighted. Gibbs definitely has a problem with his running his mouth, but he clearly has a legit grievance with this issue. Just because Currensy is cool doesn't mean he's incapable of letting someone down or acting unprofessionally. You keep saying "that's just how Currensy is" but you're ignoring that "that's just how Gibbs is" as well. Neither one of them gets a pass just because they have a history of doing shyt like this. Currensy should be more professional when collaborating with another artist and put in the promo work, and Gibbs needs to be more professional and not air out private issues publicly.

Dude is a clown. And the crazy thing is that none of these beefs or problems are based on anything real. He didn't like how Spitta promoted a project. Didn't like how Benny said he didn't think a collab album would work. Weirdo shyt.

Curren$y is a lot wiser than his years. Been around a long time and around a lot of bad people with bad energy, just like me. He's trying to live a peaceful life, as soon as you feel the atmosphere change, it's time to distance yourself.

I met Curren$y at his car shop back in like 2014. I'm cool with this dude he grew up with. We walked up and he was eyeing me hard. Some people say I look like Soulja Slim, so maybe I freaked him out for a secound, or maybe he just wanted to peep my energy. But he's an old head in the street now.
