Nikki fanbase left her for selling out

I will agree she abandoned her core... but by default she should've done better numbers...

Just like by default FO should sell... even if the album was complete trash & got horrible reviews he has a new core audience in the gay community and they support their own... look at Ye' & Gaga... :mjpls:

Can't disagree with that...

But Twitter Followers mean nothing... you have people like Nicki with well over 5 Million Followers & she barely hit Gold with like 5 Singles...

Jeezy doesn't have that many Followers but pushed nearly 250k First Week...

The Internet is a strange thing... :ld:

In my opinion

Some artists "fame" exceed their actual music.

Some people follow artists for the same reason they follow someone like Kim Kardashian because their famous not because of any actual talent, they don't necessarily like anything about their music.

I believe that...

I believe sometimes an artist can get to the point where people are more interested in their life then their music... 50 Cent for example... :upsetfavre:

Like loose says, you have to consider that cats like 50 has been in it for a decade but at the same time other cats have been in it for 2 decades and have 10 followers.

I think it also has to do with your twitter game, some people has got a meaner twitter game than others. Like Puff, 50 and Fab, some just have famous twitters.
But the thing is 300k followers and 90% of them read all your tweets > 2 million followers and 1% reading all your tweets. Or also considering, are they reading your tweets cause you're a funny person or a great musician and shyt like that.

But... :whoo:

Whose to say 90% of those 300k Followers read your Tweets either? Less Followers doesn't exactly mean more dedicated followers wouldn't you agree?

Those would probably be the demons contained between the wav gaps of Franks vocals attempting to break through your pores and infect your mind with all manner of demonic thought substances. Please avoid. Please everyone, delete this rubbish from your technosorcery devices. I say that you should do this immediately to avoid further punishing your spirit with the demons of a man who has fallen. Its so demonic, friends.

There is no real way to measure, it doesn't necessarily correlate but I think that some artist have a lot more dedicated fan bases. Most people who fukk with someone like Frank Ocean, actually fukks with him (before all the gay nonsense). You wouldn't follow him cause his funny, famous, outrageous etc. It's more likely that you consider him a great musician. While someone like 50 cent has haters, stans, people who are indifferent to his character, people who follow him cause he's funny, outrageous, cause they hate him, love him and some just simply cause he's very famous.

But it's like you say we can't really measure, but with just a mere assumption.
I'd guess that Frank Oceans dedicated/follower ratio infinitely higher than someone like for example 50 cent.

When you come out and tell people your a homosexual to sell your album it really adds a demonic element to your overall marketing campaign that will not lead to success. Frank Ocean has turned off a big portion of his fanbase that initially embraced his music with this demonic publicity stunt but that will be something he wont realize until his first week sales come in. Overall, i found the album to be obviously demonic and hopeless. This album will serve The Devil in that it will turn a group of bisexual kids who felt out of place into the demonic character portrayed on Frank Oceans album. An *ice cold* homosexual who cheers for buff men in the bleachers. What has Frank done to our youth. I know, something demonic......, friend.
