even on NU there was "songs for women" and "novacane" which were straight to the point and everyone liked them. Then theres whip appeal which is great song and not even on the album probably because its too "normal".

I think he could've been less abstract or "pretentious" with his lyrics and people would still like his new stuff. But people seem to like it anyway cause its different.

I agree with this, but at this point, I'll take anything to aspire newer artists after him to get back to writing/thinking up better lyrics than "hoes, clothes, lambo dos"
