Bruh, it’s cool. We know you have a low IQ. And you actually try to shame intelligence? lol
And you’re being whopped all over the place. Not my words... but that of others and you are confirming it. I am a former martial artist trained in baguazhang. Now lets take a man like Alistair Overeem for example, he loves to read about philosophy. Let's take a man like Remy Bonjasky, he worked in corporate as a banker.

I posted a video game fight, so you could see Jon finally win from Francis. Be happy. In the real world Jon will go into another dimension when Francis hits him. :deadmanny:

The good brehs of PHI
I suggest Jones vs Derrick Lewis before Jones vs Francis. Derrick Lewis deserves it before Jones. Even Stipe deserves a third fight before Jones, if Stipe still wants it that is.

But from a "financial and hype point of view" Jones vs Francis make the most sense.

This is what I'm thinking. I don't care who you are, I just don't think you should be able to jump up a weight class and automatically be able to fight the champion in that weight class right away. I wish the rule was, you gotta fight SOMEONE / a contender in that weight class and if you win, you can become a top contender and get a fight with the champ.

In this regard I think Derek Lewis should fight Ngannou and Jones should fight Stipe and Gane. From there... the winners of both fights should fight each other.

I agree with you, but from an economic and promotional point of view this is not the most likely scenario. Jon vs Francis can raise many millions each. They (UFC) are going to milk it.

:mjlol:McGregor ducked the shyt out so many people, let's not start this myth

Ortiz waited over a decade for a trilogy fight with Liddell

the Welterweight division is mirroring boxing with top 5 fighters not wanting to fight each other

striking in MMA was trash about 10 years ago. There are a lot of high level strikers nowadays though.

And fighters fight each other in their primes, ducking isn't possible. Not like boxing where the #1 and #2 will literally fight anyone but each other to keep the money flowing. Or they make the fight once it's past its sell by date e.g. Floyd vs Manny:scusthov:

Who the hell was clamouring for Liddell vs Ortiz 3 at any point in time ? :mjlol: you would have made more sense saying Ortiz ducked the first fight for long as he could to prolong his title reign but I doubt you even watched mma back then.

Mcgregor literally fought the number one guy (Khabib) on his return to the UFC

Usman has fought masvidal and is set to rematch him. He's fought colby Covington already, he beat Woodley for the belt. Who are these five people?

:mjlol:then when he came back after getting choked out he picked Cerrone out of every other viable LW/WW that made much more sense

and Tito took for ever for the 2nd fight to transpire because he was fighting Ken Shamrock back to back

so yes, fight dodging does in fact happen in MMA, and I've been a fan since '07.

Honestly, I think Derrick will smoke JJ as well.

People underestimate how strong these guys are that have to cut weight to make HW. I'm taking any of the top HW's against Jones. The worst possible matchups for him are Gane, Ngannou and Blaydes. He will not be able to use his wrestling against someone like Blaydes and would actually get controlled. Strikers like Gane and Ngannou will sleep him. Even Adesanya remarked that there is a noticeable difference in power from MW to LHW. These HW people are sleeping guys with single punches.

Jones is probably the most skilled fighter of all time, but as you move up in weight, there becomes a diminishing returns on skill. Guys at HW don't need to be highly skilled to get the job done. You can dominate Lewis for 5 rounds and he just lands a right hook that will have Herb Dean standing over you.

Funny enough, Stipe is the only HW I'm giving Jones a chance against because he relys more on skill than power. He can beat the mid-tier and lower tier guys as well. People also have to understand that JJ will not nearly be as fast as he was at LHW. The extra weight means more power, but it means more labored punches. He will not be used to moving around with all that extra weight.

All the pressure is on Francis for this fight. He's up against someone who has already beaten him comfortably, is the champ and has become the consensus greatest heavyweight fighter since they last fought. Not to mention that if he loses, then he would have lost twice to the same guy. At that point, you know that they are simply better than you.

On paper, Stipe should win again, but Francis has that Wilder factor, which is that he makes up for what he lacks in skill with power. But can the power factor be mitigated again a la Fury? That remains to be seen. Comparatively speaking, Ngannou is more skilled than Wilder is. Francis is also tough as nails, and is hard to control, let alone finish.

From a technical standpoint, if he can show good ttd, he puts himself in a good position to win, otherwise it will be a very tough fight for him. The most important skill that will be tested is his cardio. If he doesn't put Stipe away early, then it will also be difficult to keep up with Stipe when the fight gets deep. Francis needs to utilize his kicks and not fall in love with throwing bombs. He has the advantage in every single physical metric, but Stipe is simply the more skilled fighter.

I think if Francis catches Stipe flush early it's lights out. I am going to go with Francis KO/TKO rd 2.

That was my pre-fight analysis btw.

I don't just talk, I give analysis. And imo, Jones gets smoked badly against Ngannou.
