How is Spain suffering due to siesta time?

Do you know anything about the Spanish Economy or what caused the crisis there?

Its well documented that Germans and the British are among the most efficient nations.... Spain, Portugal, Greece, and to a lesser extent France have been facing systemic problems. A lot of it is due to bad deals from banks, general economic malaise, and a host of other issues. I get that.

But culture matters. Thats undeniable.

I'm tired of people comparing a nation with what? 1/3 of the US population with about 1/5 of the responsibility of the US as somehow being a model of society when it comes to work.

Germans workers get a minimum 24 days of paid vacation time by law. The US doesn't even mandate it's workers get any vacation days by law. Try again.
