Islam is anti-Democracy so this was bound to happen.​

I don't see how Islam is any more anti-Democracy than Christianity or Judaism.

No! Africans are divided because they are divisible. You can’t blame another country outsmarting you when your own leaders don’t give a damn. I stopped blaming western world when I compared Japanese reaction when Commodore Perry came with the ships. Japanese realized they have been isolated for too long, were far behind in technology and sent out people to study western ways. 50 years later, they beat in a war Russia a world power. Almost everything is out there regarding how to build a nation, governance, law, taxes, corruption etc. Yes it is a long process. Africans for various reasons refuse to succeed.

They had a guy in a black ship with an almost literal gun to their head telling them to open their borders. Which led to a civil war. The studying of Western ways happened after the Meiji restoration. If the Shogun remained in power, outside ways still would have been learned albeit more slowly.

Nah...I agree with the ban. You can’t emigrate to a foreign country and expect that country to adapt/adhere to your ethos, culture and religion. You should adhere to theirs. Makes assimilation easier . If you don’t wanna do that, stay in your country

Islam is theocratic. Neither Judaism nor Christianity are, anymore. Judaism was, about 3,000 years ago and Christianity was never supposed to be entwined in politics. A fluke of history caused it over 1800 years ago. In fact, Christianity supports the separation of Church and State. Islam does not.​
