What’s crazy is Wells Fargo was targeting black people for those toxic subprime loans during the Great Recession and even recently was sued for racial discrimination. They made their money during slavery and still are leeches off of the black community. I don’t see how anybody black has a bank account with them.Wells Fargo and many more need to pay their fare share from all the profits they made from slavery

Based on his hires it appears they intend to follow through on their lift every voice policies that target systemic racism and the black community.

I think it's a pump fake, besides there's no way Mitch would go for reparations, but to put on a reparations advocate to a treasury transition team is good viture signaling but virtue signaling none the less.
That being said it kinda low key "mainstreams" the idea. This is exactly how gay marriage became a thing having people in power advocate for it behind the scenes.
You know what if you just had a class action discrimination payment for the subprime shyt and or redlining and or Jim Crow terrorism like the Tulsa bombing or Rosewood and you gave them or their descendents a check it wouldn't be that many people and it wouldn't cost much money but the clout they would recieve for the tiniest tangible would shut up the "bothsides" argument forever. Because the GOP is adament about giving you nikkas nothing, all they would have to do is give any small ass group a check and they could say that they "did something". If white people on "bothsides" wasn't so racist this could easily happen.
