They're gonna be in for a rude awakening when their precious "exclusive" FFXVI ends up being a shytty wannabe Itsuno DMC game Maybe it'll look and run better than a 2015 PS4 game at the very least

Just go look at any thread leading up to and after FF15 that game and square were heavily shytted on. People thought square would and should close.

It’s not even PC. It’s some of these Japanese developers don’t know how to optimize games properly. Especially with pc ports. Some of them don’t know how to find a middle ground and balance. It’s either shytty ps3 graphics with good gameplay or good graphics and shyt frame rate and basically has to be brute forced for smooth gameplay.

When do reviews drop ?

When is the Forspoken review embargo date? The review embargo date for Forspoken is January 23rd. This comes courtesy of opencritic who has shared that final impressions will be delivered at 06:00 PT, 09:00 ET, and 14:00 GMT. Square Enix's new game will then release a day afterward on January 24th.

Forspoken reviews come out just slightly before its release date

Here is the Forspoken review embargo date for when final impressions will come out along with an explanation of early access to prequel DLC.

Kind of reminds me of how everyone on this site was convinced bethesda was absolutely washed after fallout 76, Rage, Wolfenstein New blood, Evil Within 2, etc. before they got bought out

No. Fallout 5/Skyrim/Strafield or whatever was next was always highly anticipated here. People were upset that 76 was a service game spin-off and just wanted a traditional Bethesda RPG.

Even when Microsoft purchased them people were still on board cause the games were first rumored to not be exclsuive.

It wasn’t until microsoft announced starfield would be exclusive that you nastys started your hate campaign against the game and the studio

I stopped caring about that series after 13. fukk them.

I know I know FF XV but fukk it. They're seriously taking too long to release a damn game that's being outshined by other RPG's.

I downloaded it but i really dislike the actual game so i havent tried to play it.

This was my sentiment on the game up until the most recent trailer they showed which I did a 180 on the game. Let's not create false narratives breh.

Watching the latest trailer, if someone didn't tell me it was Final Fantasy I would've thought it was some game from Platinum Games.
I don't really like the aesthetics and overall look of the game. It's bleh to me. Just a bunch of brown/grey overtones making the game look like some sort of old war torn era game.

I'm not necessarily against real time combat as I felt like FFVII Remake did a wonderful job with the combat system but I wouldn't be against turn based battle systems based FF for a mainline entry. That's why I like Persona because at least so far they haven't tried to deviate from what works. Worst case they make a spin off game for their ideas(P5 Strikers).

This looks like a freaking slasher game at times during the trailer. I'll play it but I'm not really excited for this at all. Looks like they leaned harder into the things I didn't really like about FFXV.

and funny enough, I felt Forspoken was boring from the demo I played. I am not hyped for the game if you've seen my posts in this thread.
