Damn the traversal is real tight this game is hella smooth

Traversal is pretty good, smooth even with objects like trees/rocks in the way.
World is still pretty empty which was one of the main criticisms. Would think they would have added some other npcs to make it more lively. It is probably unfair to judge with God of War Ragnarok but going from that game to this game, the world is just boring.
Combat was fun but definitely will take time to fully learn the attacks, etc.

What the hell happened to this game's graphics? In trailers this game graphics looked fantastic but the graphics in this demo is aggressively mediocre. I have been playing Uncharted thief collection on the ps5 and that looks better and that is a last gen game.Horizon forbidden west which is cross gen looks miles ahead of this even Ryse: Son of Rome on steamdeck looks better.
The story in this game reminds me of those cheesy 90s kids movie where a troubled kid mysteriously get teleported to a mythical place like the Warriors of Virtue or A kid in king's Arthur court. The dialogue is bad

This game will struggle to get a 75 on metacritic if the demo represents what the final game will be like. Days gone is superior in almost every category and that game couldn't score higher than a 75 on metacritic.

Completed the demo and beat the extra challenge boss. Yeah, imma pre-order pretty soon. Can't wait to try out even more magic. They give you quite a bit iin the demo, to where it may overwhelm some folks. Took a good minute to acclimate fully to the traversal controls, as it's a bit different. It's really fun tho, especially once you know what you're doing.

Yeah, I figured as much. Which is all the more reason that I said what I said, considering that was quite a while ago. The new vids shows the game to be running better and look better overall.

This is an old demo. The new vids shows that they've improved upon the game's performance.
Also, there's graphics settings options in the demo as well. It's default set to performance.

My goodness.. They really throw you into the deep end of the pool with this demo.. It’s nice that they give you a bunch of spells to experiment with, but at the same time I was overwhelmed trying to decide which ones I should be using. 
This is fun though. I can already tell the combat is gonna be dope once you gain more familiarity with the spells.
My main gripe right now are the visuals. Something is off with the brightness. Hopefully this stuff is ironed out in the final build.

Looks and plays great. Lots of Luminous engine limitations are apparent though (ex. limited tessellation in the terrain, hair textures, etc).
