I can't think of another Japanese made game with a black lead character. So it's definitely a little awkward with how they've been showcasing it, but definitely racism is at play with some of the hate this game is gettingYou already know why, we all do

Its not really bad at all. It’s not winning awards for its writing, but I’d be far less embarrassed playing this around other people than Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This is just standard magic-world hollywood writing.
It’s racism on both sides of the shyt.
The main protag is a racist caricature of what they “think” a black woman is. Complete with a prison backstory, and a hipity hop walk and dialog.
Cacs on the internet can’t wait to shyt on the game for obvious reasons.

Hell, that’s the only thing keeping it relevant at this point. Imagine if this was just a random game coming out. The @Gizmo_Duck of the world would not give a shyt about it. It’s been crappy looking and sounding from the jump. Never really had a good showing. Why the fukk does this game even have multiple threads on here?

why wouldn't i care about an open world AAA square enix RPG? The only reason you think i care about is because its a Sony exclusive when i literally play most of the rpgs coming out of square enix and acutally like FFXV. you're the one posting in this thread from day one in bad faith becuase you dont have access to it.
