Punk me the clearest unarguable point

Rock beats me and leave I'm still here
Brock beats me and leave I'm still here

How can I be the hottest heel if I lose and the guy just leaves the next day
:manny:

It's true but The Rock was never going to lose to Punk...especially before jobbing to Cena. The Rock cameback to ultimately put over John Cena....Cena is the top guy of this new generation.

Punk does have a gripe in that WWE doesn't build up any of the newer guys to make them look legit.

WWE brought back The Rock to team up with Mic Foley to job to Randy Orton :obama:..Brock comes back to job to Cena :manny:(obviously),and HHH..:beli:. Punk is right in that they're doing no favors for this current lineup of stars.

Punk should've been on the same level as a Randy Orton right now...Orton had wins over just about all the top legends. Punk was pretty much just the workhorse..Number 2 on the roster yet was fed garbage.

Though he does sound delusional and angry that the crowd still accepts guys like The Rock and Brock...he hates that Rock is such a fukking draw.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
That doesn't make any sense...the ONLY reason Vince let him keep the belt was to be Rock's opponent. Bryan was the alternative. He used politics and still had to lose by January.

Why did rock-cena 2 need the title? And who was dying for a rock vs cena rematch?

This. 100x This.

Punk was in the middle of a phenomenal run and halted it to give Cena-Rock the title. Even the match to drop the belt off Punk (in retrospect) was lame.

The only reason that there was a rematch was to get cena his win back... It didn't need the title, and people weren't dying to see that match.

Depends what you mean by that. He's better in-ring than all of them. He had MOTY candidates with Taker & Brock. Brock/HHH was shyt. Rock/Cena II was shyt. Brock/Taker was shyt. If you mean they're tier 1 SUPERSTARS and he's not, then yeah, you're right.

Not just in the ring, from a purely creative and performance aspect, CM Punk goes down as one of the most iconic wrestlers of our era. Not to mention that he opened the door for less steroidal indie wrestlers - there would be no Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose, Cesaro, Harper, Zayn -- and so on -- without Punk. If you look at the guys they were putting on before, and the better skilled guys they picked up after, Punk was a game changer.

No way should he have went over Brock, he should have beat Rock and then lost to him the following ppv imo.

cosign

the way they use dudes like rock and brock is so short sighted. why not let them help build other guys instead of just popping the rating for a short period of time? wasted an extra match with cena, wasted 3 brock matches with hhh when they could have used those to build someone else.

but what do i know im not a hollywood writer who makes wrestlers dose their rivals with paint and shyt :manny:

I think punk hates that he wants to be a big draw but wwe won't let you become a draw bigger than cena. It's mindboggling how much writers they have and yet they barely put any effort into story lines and continuity . Punk suggested good ideas to both increase buy rates and make stars and vince was like :patrice: sooooo does this end with cena going over or naw ?

"How many members of the active roster have been in a Wrestlemania Main Event?"

That should be a red light to those dummies
Orton, cena, and miz and I traced back to mania 16. Hunter and taker don't count since they combine for 3-4 matches a year. The fukking miz headlined while punk couldn't due to politics, and that match was entirely an ad for rock vs cena mania 28
