Old Brooklyn, word to @DPresidential
cant argue most of what you said...altho didnt they sign two bodybuilder cats...once dude was a IFBB pro or maybe a amateur tryna get a pro card and then they got that soccer cat who put on like 70 lbs ( obv drug use) but i see ya point..thats not the ONLY guys they signed
the only thing I can think of with them signing that soccer guy is that because he was a soccer player, they think he's athletic. Maybe they probably think muscles + athletic = next Brock :yeshrug:

What if this shyt actually does lead to a union forming? Punk going down in history FOREAL after that:wow:

The Wrestling business is arguably more depleted than ever, doubt they'll get it. It seems like the top dogs don't want one either every time its brought up (See Hogan snitching on Jesse. I could see HHH or Cena doing the same)

He'll be back.

Austin,Bret,Rock, Warrior Hogan etc. List goes on.

nikkas of value ALWAYS come back.

Until then, we'll let this nikka Punk cool his man period off and continue to get healthy .

And then he'll proceed to return as the part timer who steals the spotlight and gets the main event.

While I agree Punk will at some point come back maybe not to wrestle but HOF Induction it won't be in the next 3-4 years. I think this has to blow over and it will be when HHH and Steph have full control. On second thought I'm not sure H and Steph are gonna welcome him back. I think Punk might get that Savage treatment and I hate to say it but probably won't get his just do in WWE until he's no longer here.

True.

The savage stuff is a weird one though. Im not sure how much of all that was WWEs doing or just Savage holding a grudge. I think WWE would have welcomed him back with open arms. Warrior is a great example actually. WWE and Warrior were getting ready to have great terms with each other after their HUGE history.

I do think before he died he was en route to a return. Judging from those WWE allstar hype promos he was doing for them.

Never say never in the world of the E.

Figured Punk would drop some ether on the WWE the weekend I'm out of town. Read the article on Yahoo and listened to the Podcast this morning. Lot of catching up on this thread last night, but dude sounds relieved he's no longer there. I'm curious to see how the E reacts to this because of the mainstream press picking this up, especially with the shadiness of the Doctor.

- WWE's website has a new interview with Steve Austin to promote tonight's live podcast with Vince McMahon on the WWE Network after RAW goes off the air. The full interview can be read at this link. Austin commented on how podcasting is different than working the microphone in WWE:

"Interviewing somebody is a lot different than being handed a stick in a 20,000-seat arena and trying to sell tickets. You’re very green when you start. I’m still learning things to this day. I’m decent at interviews now, but man, getting people to buy tickets is the easiest thing in the world for me. We’ve already set the hook, so I’m on cruise control. For the openings of my show, I’m sitting at my house with a Zoom H4n Recorder and a Shure microphone and I stop and start up to 15 or 70 or more times, because I didn’t feel like the material was good enough. What I love about podcasting is it’s guerilla radio. I don’t have to stick to anybody’s protocol or format. I can operate my show just like I want to, but at the end of the day, it’s just a can of audio whoopa**. My show is built to entertain."

Austin was also asked the one thing he wants Vince to have to answer tonight. He replied:

"Nothing is off limits. There’s a line that I won’t cross, but that’s for my standards — nothing that WWE has told me. There are many things I’d like to ask him. I’d like to know what’s going on with CM Punk. I’d like to know how Daniel Bryan’s health is. I’d like to know whose idea it was in Atlanta [that made me] take my ball and go home in 2002. I reacted the worst way possible, but I want to know who came up with that masterpiece of an idea. Guys like me come along very seldom in the wrestling business. You can count ’em on a couple of fingers."
