Bryan was giving high quality matches every show he was on and was part of the biggest storyline for about a year. He was busting his ass off and unfortunately a terrible string of events occurred during his best period in the spotlight.

DBry went on his honeymoon 8 days after WM30 I thought that was pretty lame. I understand being married and loving your wife but that was bad timing. Champ must be around which is why I think Brock as Champ is the biggest mistake WWE has made in a long time.

Wasn't that the reason they managed to get Vince an executive producer credit on a couple of movies post-Scorpion King which also helped get a foot in for WWE studios?

I always assumed dude had a good relationship with Vince and handled it the smoothest.
