Looking back in retrospect, a three-way between Punk Cena and Rock would have been soooo much better. Taker could have worked with Brock. But then H would have had no one to work with and of course we can't have that

I'm in no way saying that Punk isn't a star in his own right. His merch sales were through the roof and he did suffer from some suspect booking but EVERYONE does. They rushed him back from injuries and didn't properly take care of shyt but again that happens to EVERYONE. It happens to John Cena. Cena comes back from six month injuries in like six weeks. This is a shady fukking business and just because they are publicly traded does not mean it won't continue to be a shady business. Look at the NFL. It's shady as fukk.

I have maybe a little sympathy for him with the injury shyt but everything else is :camby:

The Rock popped those buys at WrestleMania. Like it or not, he did. Punk didn't get the sponsorship deal with his shorts because he's not Brock Lesnar. Brock was selling between 800,000 and 1 million plus buys per event in UFC.. Of course Vince was going to give him whatever he wanted..

This guy had a role in the company and it was a pretty sweet role to have. It sounds to me like he was bitter about not being John Cena but oh well. Not every guy is going to get that chance. He complained about not having people to work with but he worked with Undertaker, Lesnar, Cena, Bryan.. shyt, Punk ALWAYS had something big going on.. He sounded paranoid as hell at times on this..

Well Cena was the face of the company...but Bryan was who carried the company this year. I wouldn't care had Punk been here when that stuff happened because it was bound to fail. TSC is the one blaming performers for that stuff..not me. U want me too but it's no big deal. WCW has been marginalized and they insult your intelligence forum was trying to cook up against the guy they wanted to blame.
Bryan isn't creating mainstream buzz in 4 different sports? Lol
His chant is over I'm wary to say its him and not the chant at sporting events . He is a big part of it but it's catching on due to the easiness of the chant . Yes he was at the Giants stuff but it's not like ESPN is covering dbry punk quiting got

WCW has been marginalized and they insult your intelligence in multiple ways with the network...a 12 year old could see why it has rapidly declined since Mania season. What we did see was Vince in near tears doing Yes chants...debunking any gimmick this forum was trying to cook up against the guy they wanted to blame.
Look let's not confuse reality with Vince's reality . They blamed punk and Bryan for summerslam buys that year but not cena or Brock and they give cena no blame for the loss of network subs and the fact that him and Brock couldn't Pop buyrates

That's all good but Vince is still following Bryan's lead to get his business up.

it sounds like you want the guy to settle for something less than he feels he's worth. you don't get to the level punk did with that kind of mentality.

fact is he believed he was the best and he wanted them to treat him to like it. like he said in the interview... to quote stone cold... "if you're not tryna be the champion then why are you in the business at all??"

punk gave them chance after chance after chance to do the right thing by him, to do the right thing by the BUSINESS. they didn't, so he left. i say good for him. the company is rotting away anyway.

Not at all. Get as much as you can out of the business. But don't cry to me because you're not THE guy. Should a top executive of a company walk out because he's not the CEO? That's his call but at some point you need to understand that where you are isn't a bad place to be..

If that was true, why was he settling by mid 2012? Come on....he acts like he was doing 1999 numbers and revolutionizing pro wrestling. Lol.

perhaps a victory over your boy on a big stage and in front of a large audience sets those wheels into motion.

what about when that CEO steps down and it comes time for them to pick a new one? what if he's passed over?

So much stuff happened to this dude, could have came on the podcast and simply said "I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears."

While Colt is "" at the reference.

The stuff with the doctor is all messed up.
