quite literally the only progressive president we have ever had.
He was a progressive that somehow became president, something many people believe(d) and still believe to this day that cannot be achieved in a conservative cesspol country like the US
He stood in front of the white house lawn and told Americans they needed to stop wasteful consumerism and to take climate change seriously and this was in the 70's

He was a good man. His president was marred by things like record high inflation and geopolitical blunders( i.e Iran), so his presidency sucked
