If you saw a picture of Jimmy Carter back in 1976 when he was elected president, you would have NEVER thought he would be alive for nearly another 5 more decades :mindblown: .

Thats a hell of a life. RIP.
I mean he didn't look that old to me he just didn't look young then. I've been trying to tell people with the type of Healthcare these presidents are getting they will always live long.

Yes. He was a good dude. He didn’t have a good presidency but that was because of a lot of issues he inherited, and being a democratic president in the midst of the Republican revolution. I’ve never heard a real bad word about him as a person.

RIP he finally started getting his props late in life. He tried to get us a national healthcare system and expand use of solar panels too.

Thom Hartmann claims Reagan got the edge on Carter with a secret deal with Iran to keep the hostages until after the election. That lead to the Iran-Contra-Cocaine scandal of the 80s under Reagan.

Glad he made it to 100 :salute:
