You see these types of grifters in every modern society..... these dudes just banked off the fact that they could embellish/flat out lie about things to an audience seeking their own Tyler Durden.

It just had gotten to a point where these dudes were going on podcasts/doing interviews in full belief of the character they had crafted themselves to be and forgot that their own community consumes the same content and aren't gonna let people tell lies for profit.

It’s deeper than a lot of people think too. I observe a lot, but I like I said these dudes know who/what they are

I pay attention more to the cats that migrated to 3-4 letter agencies after.

The hot thing now is corporate including navy seal leadership in the workplace and motivation speeches. So there’s a jocko and David goggins getting all the praise and love for being navy seals.

Over the course of my time here, I've seen it.
First year or so, thought that there was some inside joke that I wasn't privy to. But came to the realization that it was real when I read multiple members repeating the exact same views, using the exact same words, at the exact same time.

Clearly all parroting the same person.

It's one of the reasons for my own personal cynicism towards the average person in this day in age

I say this because they expect empathy but are willing to word vomit why one should deprive the next man of the same thing for whatever reason.

Speaking of Goggins specifically he’s a great athlete no one can take that from him. But he only deployed once and has almost zero combat time.

I knew reservist cooks with more trigger time than him.

Homie also failed Delta Force selection twice and Seal Team 6 selection once and not invited back.

It seems like homie wanted the title more than the job.
