I always share this part from City of Life and Death because it's just an amazing scene with a great beat.
But seriously, this movie is intense. and brutal. And sometimes it was hard for me to watch. I really had to decompress after it because the Japanese were brutal on the Chinese.
Some people call the movie the asian Schindler's List.

Kinda reviving this thread because I was looking to see if some movies in here were added to Netflix.
A number of them that I wanted to watch weren't available a few months ago.
Keep this joint alive. Just saw the hunt on netflix. Don't really see what all the praise about.
Must be a cultural thing to manipulate children to agree to shyt and take thier word for it. Good acting by the main guy but wish he had more anger/passion. His son seemed more hurt than him.
