City of God is good but nobody mentioning shyt like Ichi The Killer, Crow Zero, Old Boy 13 Assassins, etc is beyond terrible.

Oldboy was the best movie out of the Vengeance trilogy.

If you like older films then there is a load of good international ones.

I'm about 15 minutes into Old Boy but I cut it off. I was getting bored.
I might give it another shot.

Probably my favorite movie in the last decade is Lost in Translation, though. Definitely in my Top 5.

of the decade though? Why cause ol'girl is in the movie? That movie was so fukken terrible. I thought it was kind of racist as well.

Yeah it's not my favorite. Personally, I'd say watch Ichi The Killer if you have the stomach for it.

Yeah old boy is dope..the director made a vengeance trilogy..old boy is def the best out the 3 in that trilogy of films.,

I've actually never seen it.
I've picked up 6 or 7 Brasilian movies, but for whatever reason, I didn't watch City of God yet.

HOW?! It's an amazing film. Also, Last Stop 147 - by the same producer.
