Been wanting to see this since I heard years ago about the movie being made.

Folks fail to realize the history between Ford and Ferrari. Ford tried to buy Ferrari when they were having money issues. Some say Ferrari pretended that they were going to sell to Ford. But later Ferrari pulled out if the deal after having Ford up the cost of the sell and then Ferrari sold to fiat.

Henry Ford II was so angry about Ferrari pulling out that he waged war against Ferrari and wanted to damage their brand. The best way to do that was to build a ford car that could beat Ferrari in the Le Mans the most grueling car race in the world. Henry Ford also was a racist and hated Italians. So he felt the Italian owner of Ferrari got over on his so that was another reason he wanted to embarrass them.

tooks pops, he loved it. He's a car nut though. I liked it as well, but wasn't as invested into as he was.

Saw it in IMAX, it made the race scenes really cool. Definitely enjoyed the movie I don’t know anything technical about cars but I wasn’t ever bored.

Seen it today, top notch movie. Damon and Bale did the damn thang. Really showcases the tension between racers knowing their cars and suits trying to run things in the race world. Amazon's Grand Tour really dove into this on an episode (season 3 I think). 1st day 4K blu-ray purchase.

Bale put on the performance of a lifetime.

Might be in my top 5 movies of this year.

Why not see it in the theater if you have been wanting to see it so bad?

Matt Damon in an interview said that he asked Christian Bale how he was able to lose all of that weight that he gained for Vice and he said Bale replied by saying, "You don't eat...at all. " I hope Bale doesn't have any bad health issues as he gets older due his weight gain/loss methods.

Seriously at his frequency with the weight gain/loss I can’t see it not affecting his health long term.

I was going to check this out last night @ a 9:45pm showing. Then I saw this movie is 2.5 hrs!
Nah I will have to see this early afternoon since this old brain be getting tired in a theater after about 9:30.

There's a documentary on Netflix about this and it's very good...actually got me wanting to see the movie now...but not in the theater I'll wait till it's on one of the streaming platforms

Went into it with an extremely low bar, pleasantly surprised. Great race scenes and good plot. Bale was pretty good could’ve done without the wife and kid subtext. Tight movie.

I finally got a Chance to Check this out and I liked it.

Good Story, I don't know shyt about the Racing Industry but this seemed pretty Insightful. I think Ferrari was out of line by laughing them Ford Boys out of the Building like that but

I didn't know Bernthal and Lucas were also in the cast so that made it more enjoyable too, I like them as Actors.

at Ford Jr. getting all then when he was taking that 9 Million Dollar Test Drive.
