Fox didn't do their homework on the steady decline of this company so that's their fault. :yeshrug: The signs have been evident for years.
I feel like to make the deal Fox probably stipulated that they have some say in the direction of the product. I know they immediately were talking about more sports focus and less goofy stuff. That’s probably going to be another battle. And along with Vince relaunching the XFL they’re gonna have their hands full soon :wow:

Why is Aleister Black on Twitter ethering the beards :heh: isn’t he supposed to be some brooding satanist, is that how they spend their spare time :dead: he can’t go get some of that oil money that his company’s getting because of his ink, maybe his focus is misplaced

The idea that Aleister Black is somewhere in the world staring at a.phone screen typing "my guy" to some random neckbeard is absolutely fukking hilarious. :mjlol:

Vinces tricks are all played out

Just a few months ago we got the morale speech as fans from him. I dont wanna hear his excuses anymore

Product hasnt gotten any better since then.

He's holding every fan and wrestler hostage.

And I dont see what kinda tricks they're pulling to have their "most successful yr ever"

WWE Now Offering Five-Year Contracts To New Talents - Wrestling Inc.

Wrestlers being signed to new WWE NXT contracts are now receiving five-year deals, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Most beginner talents had been receiving three-year deals when they first signed.

The idea is that WWE is trying to lock talents in to where it's a long time before they can test the waters as a free agent, according to the Observer.

WWE has been aggressive in signing talents to NXT for more than a year now, and it's believed that they will continue signing new talents from the indies and the sports world now that AEW and other promotions are also actively pursuing wrestlers.

They really are tryna keep people locked down :mjlol:

If any incoming recruits end up like Sasha, Neville, or anybody else, miserable, wanting out of your contract, I don’t wanna hear them bytch about it :manny: if you know what that company is like and still decide to sign 5 years of your life away to it, deal with the consequences:yeshrug:

Just sign the contract. Those 5 years will go by like a breeze.

Facts. If people like Dean Ambrose and Sasha Banks - folks who were fukking main eventing shows and winning titles - were like, "Nah this is actually bullshyt," you better think long and hard before signing on that dotted line.

The company has more talent than it can actually use, half the talent that is being used hates what they're doing, and all the shyt they do to keep talent where they want them actively hurts the workers' chances of moving up and making more money. Now being completely fair, some folks absolutely make more sitting in the back eating catering for WWE than they would at other gigs and I would imagine some in the locker room are content with that. However, if you really have aspirations to do more and be more, WWE seems like it's just going to frustrate you.

However, wrestling seems to attract those "American dream" types who think that hard work is all you need despite the numerous examples to the contrary, so hey. I imagine many will sign on the premise that those who left just didn't wanna work for it.

it really would be foolish for any talent to sign a 5-year deal in NXT because those deals are usually only around $40,000-$60,000 per year. now if you're on the main roster and they offer you $500,000 per year guaranteed? that's a different story.

Enzo recently said that WWE kept him on his NXT downside deal at $1,050.00 per week ($54,600 per year) his entire first year on the main roster despite being the #1 merchandise seller in the company that year. He said that he still made over a million that year because of his strong merchandise sales and being over with the audience to constantly be featured on every show, but think of all the other talent who get stuck on those shytty downsides who don't sell merchandise. Enzo said his best selling shirt did $8 million in revenue and his cut was only $200,000 (2.5%).
