I will say this though, I think he music has taken a step back because he has attention elsewhere. You used to be able to hear the dedication in Kanye's work. I think Yeezus might have been his last truly dedicated work outside of a few moments on Pablo or whatever. But you used to be able to hear his vision as a artist and now most of his work (outside of his production) sounds like its coming from a guy that doesnt really wanna be a rapper anymore.

given kanyes track history, we all know he can make new shyt like his old shyt but chooses not to, every album is different thats one thing you're forgetting, kanye could re make his 1st album ten times if he really wanted to but doesn't and continues to push the envelope, even if the masses dont like it, its not for us, he's making what he wants

its not about losing interesting or not being a rapper anymore, he's doing what he truly wants to do
imagine kanye doing something cause some random person wants the "old" kanye back , kanyes like fuk you i do what i want look at what im creating right now, and you want me to rap like its 2005?? :mjlol:

kanye does shyt like this and laughs, he's always had a "i do what i want" attitude

For what it's worth, this is as much work shown from Forbes as to how they arrive at these figures..."billionaire" doesn't mean someone has a billion in gold bullion sitting in a vault somewhere...the bulk of the 1.3bill figure they arrived at is what he could fetch in a theoretical yeezy brand sale...it checks out to me :yeshrug:

If I were him, I’d be looking at cashing out a decent piece of that ...fashion seems more fickle than music, 5 years from now who nows what the value of that shoe line is

Kanye still claiming it's 3.3 billion... no matter how Forbes math say. Lol.

Either way, congrats.

Don't believe any of those pieces from Forbes, if you are talking liquid money or assets, it's simply impossible to calculate, without access to personal financial documents. It's marketing at this point, it doesn't they are wealthy, but it's a lot of smoke and mirrors. Where would Kanye make money from? This is PR, and I don't normally say things like that about relatively respectable media outlets.

Given the illiquidity of these myriad assets and the lack of independent backup, we’re giving all of this a 50% haircut: That’s about $125 million in assets, outside of his Yeezy crown jewel. Then, there’s debt: between mortgages, advances and other liabilities, we saw about $100 million that West is on the hook for.

There's been people on Forbes list that's filed bankruptcy in less than 24 months.
Always take their "facts" with a grain of salt
