Hear me out.
:whoa:
She doesn’t have the catalog as the greats, which is part of the ranking, but her voice is an instrument.
:wow:
She has the voice when every time you hear her, you will complete the song. Live performances are always on point. She has range, power, voice control, and all of it is effortless.
:leon:
She is crazy ass hell and needs some guidance but she’s the one. I would pay $750 for great seats at Fox Theater in Atlanta to listen to her perform. (I’m also a huge Jasmine Sullivan fan)
:damn:

marsha does all that and more ...

nice sounding but not top 10.

When I think of the type of muffucca would read Forbes, I’m imagining some business jerk in his late 40s
who is always at the airport so he only reads Forbes, when he has a layover in O’Hare.

He doesn’t really listen to music except for at the end of the week when he and the other partners stay
at the office after work to have a scotch and cigar for a little bit. And then they listen to Dave Matthews Band,
Sinatra, or Steely Dan.

That said: I expected this list to have Tracy Chapman and Michelle N’Degeloeocello on it - ahead of Tina Turner.
I did expect Sade, but not all the way down at #41. That is too wild. I guess I learned today.
