Ant Man came out a month before Straight Outta Compton.Ok. I disagree but you knew that already. lol
Antman had a lot of comp. Mainly Straight Outta Compton. And Jurassic World guy is more charismatic than Rudd.

Hey slow down, I will argue with anyone that the 1st transformers movie is a borderline classic. 2-4 thoughYou asked a question and I answered it...the first Cap movie (pre-Avengers) made middle of the road blockbuster money despite being a much publicized piece of the grander Marvel Cinematic Universe plan. The 2nd Cap made a shytload of loot because the world at large had fully embraced the MCU after Avengers.
And how well-received or critically praised a film is has nothing to do with how much money it makes otherwise the Transformers movies would have made a combined $27.

I was only talking about the sequels...I loved that first Transformers flick. Whether it was purely nostalgia or not I don't even care.Hey slow down, I will argue with anyone that the 1st transformers movie is a borderline classic. 2-4 though
A majority of the global population are the type of Marvel vs Dc Stan that would research every Zach Snyder comment???Oh so Zack's comments about Ant-Man being the flavor of the week while Bats and Supes are icons really has no role in how each movie does financially/critically? That's fukkin' interesting.
No recognize Supes and Bats as icons and consequentially want to see a movie featuring them.A majority of the global population are the type of Marvel vs Dc Stan that would research every Zach Snyder comment???
What is that assumption based off of? It's sitting at 91/92 on RT.It was not universally loved. A lot of people might have seen it but half of them left disappointed.
Oh sorry. Alot of factors timing of it's release (deep into the established MCU), not a lot of comp in the theaters, the quality of the movie, charismatic leads.
No it's not. Link please. What is that assumption based off of? It's sitting at 91/92 on RT.
My bad, I thought you were referring to GOTG. Looks like you were talking about MOSNo it's not. Link please.
That isn't what he said though. In response to being asked about Stephen Spielberg saying that "comic book movies would eventually go the way of the western", Snyder said:No recognize Supes and Bats as icons and consequentially want to see a movie featuring them.
Zack Snyder said:“It goes to the mythological nature of the movies that we’re making,” he said. “I feel like he’s right. But I feel like Batman and Superman are transcendent of superhero movies in a way, because they’re Batman and Superman. They’re not just, like, the flavor of the week Ant-Man—not to be mean, but whatever it is. What is the next Blank-Man?”
What did I say that was different than that? That isn't what he said though. In response to being asked about Stephen Spielberg saying that "comic book movies would eventually go the way of the western", Snyder said:
Batman and Superman are part of the fabric of American pop culture and have been since the 1940s. They are viewed differently than say an Ant-Man because they are more well-known. So if in 20 years the current comic book movie/TV craze has died (if what Spielberg says does come to pass) there will still be more of a cache for something featuring Batman and/or Superman because of those characters standing in the culture than there will be if someone decides to reboot Ant-Man.
You didn't seem to be taking the context of what Snyder said being in response to the Spielberg statement about comic movies going the way of the western. What did I say that was different than that?
