Well I work with alot of Venture capital firms already, so I knew all the black ones. Atlanta has three black accelator/vc firms which is unheard of anywhere else. But I just sent them my pitch over email, didnt get feedback for months. But talked to em all personally and eventually got them together and pitched em.

I should hear back hopefully tomorrow. Im checking my email like every hour though; nervous as hell. :lupe:

I just hope it works. :to:

@bdizzle
I sent u a message about 5 months telling u I could help u get in contact with some firms when I saw u had some ideas.

It is. :snoop: The thing about the south (outside of the major cities) is that racist cacs don't mind living in a city with a high black population as long as we "stay in our place". :dahell: at all the MAJORITY black towns in middle and south georgia where the black middle class is VERY slim, we have ZERO political power, and black businesses are almost nonexistant.

Does that also apply cities like montgomery & jackson? Damn bruh i was looking at cities in the south to maybe move to one day since a lot are majority black and i assumed we were doing good down there, but i guess all those cities except for new orleans and atlanta are just full of hating old cacs and :demonic: hood cats.

I think he already has something there, he also is about to buy Fort Mcphearson in the City and develop that into a studio thats going to bring more jobs, some c00n on the City Board was trying to block it and Kasim Reed and Gov Deal got her out of there.

Kasim Reed the GOAT mayor of the last 20 yrs, dude has done so much for the City its crazy. Dude from the City, pops was on that NOI Build a Black Nation tip (his name is actually Muhammad Kasim Reed) Went to an HBCU, and got a Bad wife who also went to Howard and she the grand daughter of a Arthur Langford (the guy who Langford Parkway is named after)

Kasim will be a household name in about 20 years. Dude is already a national player in the Democratic party. Wild thing is Kasim cool as hell. He not a square at all.

lol yup, he frequently visits V103 and is normal as heck, he could be the GOAT governor or something, Him and Corey Booker are two of the few politicians I rock with. I just see hating CACs blocking his shine on the larger scale, but in ATL nobody utters bad word about him minus the Street Car that many people think is a waste.

I went to College in Savannah. Majority Black City where blacks have ZERO power, literally. There are no jobs there and everyone there with money is retired, so you have blacks out there on that :demonic: tip, especially if they see your whip dont have a Chatham Co Tag. That place is good to visit but no place for a young black, it literally will mess with your head that the only people doing something economically there are old white people.
this is DEPRESSINGLY accurate description on Savannah, hopefully I can finally get out here in a few years (I live on the outskirts of Chatham though)
you go to SSU or Armstrong?

Lots of Black excellence going on up there it just get overshadowed by the bytch ass media. Chicago is a dope ass city. By far my favorite place besides the A. The southside is a beautiful thing. Just one huge mass of Black folks.

Oh yeah? I'm mainly in the art "scene" so I'm a fish out of water in regards to the other fields going on around me I tell ya H'what.

I just personally would feel like an ass wanting help and showcase my work to my people only to up and leave when I can get muh hands dirty and make moves here I reckon.

:mjcry:I do however, remember that Moorehouse shirt my pappy gave me back in 2000, looking back I should've gotten my shyt together with the schoolin' and gave it a shot at a HBCU, ya here.

@RegB That applies to pretty much everywhere outside of the major (1 million plus) metros :beli: Don't be fooled just because a lot of the smaller cities are majority black. The vast majority of them are on that old school colonial style :mjpls: like it's the 1930s. Not to mention the  grimey hoods on some Compton gang banging shyt resulting from the persistent generational poverty caused by this.

People like to sh*t on HBCUs but them joints train you how to deal with CACs the only down fall is they push climbing the corporate ladder more than showing entrepreneurship is an option too.

Yeah I see reppin you Uptown, my mom's stay on Irving Park right next to Uptown so I can kinda see what you on. That's what's up tho. Uptown is a cool ass neighborhood. You can't get that type of lifestyle for that amount of money anywhere else in America. Folks in Frisco and NYC paying dropping a check to live the same way you can on the Northside of the Chi. Can't beat it.
