Asians still have beauty supply stores on deck, and Arabs has gas stations, BUT Atlanta has a ton of Blacks doing good, so its none of that Menace 2 Society Stereotyping because it's blacks breaking bread, you may get it in the burbs though, but unless you walking around looking janky nobody gives you the side eye. I have never been to any black gas stations but there are a few beauty supply stores owned by blacks. Atlanta might be the only city where Blacks can make it where nobody eats but black folks and Fortune 500 companies, but there is a huge consumer culture since people want to keep up with the Jones. And in ATL you got Buford Hwy which is like the Economic hub for Mexicans and Koreans/Viets, then in Clarkson you have a ton of East African/Muslim businesses. My only gripe with ATL businesses is cats open the same ol sports bars, car washes, barber shops, wing spots, and soul food spots. We need more diversity business wise. Theres a cat who I went to College with who's family runs Supreme Fish Delight, they are old school NOI cats and its very successful, like I said blacks eating we just gotta diversify our portfolios.

Naw theres plenty of diversification just got to look for it we have many business owners in real estate, technology, finance, entertainment, movies, music, manufacturing, trucking, hr, sales, cars, law, schools, government, engineering and startups; alot of shyt. Basically if u a black person with any dreams I wouldnt go anywhere else. Easier to find the ppl u need to shake hands with quicker here than any where else.

They got the beauty supply industry on lock out here. My girl sometimes wears braided extensions and she told me yesterday she bought it from the Korean spot. I was like :dahell:

I went online and found a black owned beauty supply store and told her to only buy from there from now on. If it's way more expensive I'll give her the bread to buy it.

Here's the facebook page of the black owned beauty supply store close to the crib.

Real talk though we need cats who got that hustlers spirit to come out here and help chase these dudes out the city.
Yea most if not all the women in my family are Redbones so they never needed weave. If we needed hair products we just got them online or out of Sallys.

I'll keep that beauty supply store you linked in mind

Damn bruh, i was looking at pictures of it and it looked more of like a klan type of city to me :yeshrug: but ill take your word for it.

I went to College in Savannah. Majority Black City where blacks have ZERO power, literally. There are no jobs there and everyone there with money is retired, so you have blacks out there on that :demonic: tip, especially if they see your whip dont have a Chatham Co Tag. That place is good to visit but no place for a young black, it literally will mess with your head that the only people doing something economically there are old white people.

Going to have to take a trip this summer, networking and going to consider it as a place to relocate, it's either Atlanta or the DMV @bdizzle @CashmereEsquire put a South Florida breh on game

When I lived in Cincinnati and was trying to find some place to live I checked out Miami, LA, Chicago, DC, and Atlanta. I settled on Atlanta because it had the lowest cost of living and I saw black people doing well EVERYWHERE. Real talk when I first moved came to visit I saw nikkas pushing bentleys, Aston Martins, Maseratti's and the c00n in me immediately assumed they were either slangin or entertainers. Come to find out there are a lot of brehs out here just doing legit biz making a killing. My homeboy is like 27 living in a 10,000 square foot mansion eating off this real estate hustle. One of the first nights I went out after moving here and I seen a long line of bentley's, ferrari's, lamborghini's and aston martin's leaving the club. All had their top down. All had dimes in the whip. All dirven by black men :whew:

If you have that entrepreneurial spirit, you can't get do much better than Atlanta IMO. If you have career prospects, moving to ATL is an incredible choice. Just don't be one of them dumb nikkas that think you gonna move here, make 8/hr, and some beyonce looking broad is gonna start thirstin over you.

There's a lot of beautiful women here but there's a whole lot of balling ass nikkas too. Steel sharpen steel though so use that shyt to your motivation, I know I sure as hell did :ehh:

That's what's up. And I fukk with Philly the long way. Just stating what I've seen. And I totally feel you on the can't live down south thing. I get around and I totally see the difference in the lifestyles between up there and down here and can understand someone not liking it.
Yeah outside of the cheaper housing and weather for some (which I don't really mind) I don't think its close between being in the NE and down south. I'm biased of course even though I was born and live some down south. Them house prices alone will make you consider it but I'm also not fooled by some dudes acting like ballers down south that would be hurting up North lol. Like I said though if cats getting money though great for them I'm not a hater in the least.

It is. :snoop: The thing about the south (outside of the major cities) is that racist cacs don't mind living in a city with a high black population as long as we "stay in our place". :dahell: at all the MAJORITY black towns in middle and south georgia where the black middle class is VERY slim, we have ZERO political power, and black businesses are almost nonexistant.

ATL
I know right. nikkas walking around in places like The Bay, DMV and Chicago with the skinny locs and I'm like bruh we was doing that in the late 90's. I remember when I had locs and my cousins in Chicago used to try and roast me calling me a mop head and shyt. Now fast forward 12 years and they doing the same thing. Shout out to Dade tho cuz ATL did copy the Dread wave off them.

Shoutout to Dade yeah, you gotta give props to differen cities for some things but I truly believe ATL is where a lot of things become hot.

Once the city gets a hold of it or creates it it becomes golden breh

I luh this place so much

I believe the Top Benz dealer in the City is owned by a black dude too, its either the top Benz or BMW dealer. Atlanta would be the easiest to make the new Black Wallstreet the fact is all the blacks are spread out, there are many burbs with majority black pops but their governments are majority White, like Douglassville for example.

Parents stay out in Douglasville...place had potential 10 years ago but kind of stagnated after the construction/housing crash. Supposedly, Tyler Perry is building a movie studio compound out there so it should help. But yeah, I heard about the government being all White and the city being 65% Black and that shyt don't make no damn sense.

My girl is natural and wears her hair natural 99.9% of the time. Every once in a while she'll rock the patra braids so she cops em from the store:

I assumed she knew better than to buy from a yellow cac, but I got her back on track now :obama:
