I don't know why they're waiting to move Monroe. I assume whatever team traded for him would keep his rights and he'd still be a RFA.

Denver seems like the perfect trade partner. They could bring Chandler back to Michigan and probably get Faried or Hickson along with him, which would flesh out their bench.

Breh, you aren't getting a lottery pick in the 2014 draft for Monroe. Chandler would be a great fit for this team. He's good offensively and defensively, plus he'd move Smith to the 4 where he belongs. They'd probably be able to get Faried or Hickson too, which would be a huge boost for the bench.

Monroe is better than anyone not in the top 4, any GM would trade for him if they knew they were not getting Wiggins/Emblid/Parker/Exumd

Chandler is a mediocre outside shooter, we'd still have issues offensively

But anyone they draft is going to be very cheap for the next four years and Monroe is gonna get close to max money. That's a major factor.

Chandler can hit threes when he's not being asked to create shots. He shot 41% last year because he had open looks and with Smith, Drummond and Jennings, he should get open looks on the Pistons.

He's playing out of position now. Monroe is a center. He doesn't take enough midrange shots for me think he has improved. Right now Monroe is david west, Al jefferson, Millsap caliber player. Pistons need a Lamarcus aldridge, bosh, love, gasol type of pf for this team to work with Josh at sf. Monroe is good but not worthy of big deal that he will get when he's a FA.

I would take west and milsap over Monroe. And a prime pre injury al Jefferson.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with yall brotha's on Moose (I will concede on a prime Al Jefferson though, and remember Joe tried to get him but the deal was vetoed by ownership), but I will say this if moving him is what's best for the team then I have no problems with it/will roll with it . Personally I'm just a fan of dudes all around game.
