I don't get your point? I said trade Monroe for a lottery pick, not tank. Why would you go all in for a okay player when you're still going to have a first round exit at best? Grabbing a wing in the draft will make us better than keeping this crowded frontcourt or trading our young guys for veterans on bloated contracts with 3-4 good years left.

Nobody wants them to trade for old players

What are Eric Gordon and Ryan Andersen? One will never return to how he was before the injury and the other I don't expect to put up good numbers a few years from now. It doesn't address defensive issues, either and puts KCP's development on the backburner.

I can tell you don't watch any games outside of the Pistons.

Anderson has played on pretty bad teams and thus puts up empty stats. I don't expect him to continue this pace for another 3-4 years. Monroe will be solid for 10 + years.

Gordon was great before the injury. Compare his numbers now to those on the Clippers.

It's a bad trade. I can't believe people would argue for this. Then again, this explains why there is so many shyt GMs in the first place.

That's exactly what Monroe has done. :bryan:

And I stated that I didn't know about Gordon because he can't stay healthy. I didn't say I want them to do this trade. I just stated that a jump shooter like Anderson would really open up the offense.

We have more problems defensively than offensively. Anderson solves none of those.

Having Monroe out of the way helps solve the defensive problems. Attacking the rim with josh and Drummond down there is gonna be difficult. Stuckey is a decent perimeter defender.

Stuckey is gone in that deal. Replacing Anderson with Monroe does nothing defensively :heh:

Anderson wouldn't come here to start bruh. Homeboy would become the 6th man he would easily be the best shooter on the team and would get plenty of open looks.

LOL so who is starting in that lineup?

like ES313 said...moving Monroe alone makes the defense better cause you can't attack with Josh and Drum in there.

Do you realize how horrible the perimeter defense would be? I hope they make this trade just so yall can see how stupid this would be. Better off drafting a sharpshooter 3 like Rodney Hood for Monroe and developing chemistry for 2-3 years before making a run.

KCP could move over and start at SF or Singler. Perimeter did can't be much worse than it already is with Monroe playing matador D.
