Joe was already deep in the process of Cheeks while Hollins was still coaching in the Playoffs. it was one of those things where either you were getting Shaw or Cheeks and Shaw wasn't coming here. Karl and Hollins were not expected to be fired and Joe had to make a move and not lose his "man"

All in all I wanted them to get Obradovic from the Euroleague. Dude is to that league what Phil Jackson is to the NBA

He was the head coach of Panathinaikos Athens from 1999 to 2012, leading the team to become the top club in European club basketball during that time, while simultaneously maintaining the club at the top position in the Greek national championship. In total, Obradović won 11 Greek Championships, 7 Greek Cups and 5 Euroleague titles (2000, 2002, 2007, 2009 and 2011) with the "Greens". In 2007, he achieved winning the highly coveted Triple Crown championship for the second time as a head coach (the first was in 1992 with Partizan) and won the Euroleague Coach of the Year award

Funny I was gonna mention him in my last post but I changed my mind:heh:

a GM in the last year of his contract would never make a drastic move like that. I even heard he barely speaks english . Imagining this team under him is a scary sight...in a bad way.

He's had a long history of cavorting with the organization, I've never heard that he didn't speak english. that would pose a problem but on the other hand We have quite a few playerst that go over there and do exceedingly well. The game is universal.

I'm really liking Jennings. Josh Smith is infurating. He does something amazing then fukks it up. Andre Drummond is going to be a problem when he assert himself he is unstoppable.

If we win this game the differnce is that turd Kyle Singler is making his threes during this little winning streak.
