another L that will look worse than it was

or maybe it was that bad being that we cant rotate on defense or hit an outside shot. well our three losses are to the grizzlies, pacers and thunder so atleast we arent losing to scrub teams

defense hasn't looked right at all. Mainly due to pick and rolls, and every guard playing like there 37 years old, not just Billups lol. :damn:

Just because Drummond, Monroe, and Smith are on the back line dont give you the leisure of playing no defense :camby:

Cheeks rotations are :laff:

Kyle Singler is the Don Kelly of the Pistons :jawalrus:

They got a werst coast trip coming up, so I'll box score watch the next week or so. Cant stay up and watch this :blessed: but :snoop: play they exhibit every game.

the Lions, Motown most dependable team :whoo:, gone hold on down Sunday

Andre Drummond Loses a Fan by Trash Talking, Playing Aggressively
You're going to see Andre Drummondand Roy Hibbert battle it out many times in the near and distant future, and the Indiana Pacers' big man has now all but guaranteed thatDrummond's mouth will be flapping frequently each time.

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Pacers bested the Detroit Pistons, winning 99-91 as Hibbert proved his superiority over Drummond on the court. The 7'2" center held his younger counterpart to six points, nine rebounds, one steal and one block while recording eight points, 10 rebounds, two assists and seven rejections of his own.

But he still lost the battle by opening his mouth after the game.

According to Terry Foster of The Detroit News, Hibbert is no longer a fan of Drummond:

To tell you the truth I was a fan of his until tonight. He is a real good prospect, but it seemed like he was running his mouth a little bit tonight. He has a tremendous future, but I was a fan of his. I thought he was supposed to have a breakout year this year. Best of luck to him. He can dunk the ball real well and he can block shots and he can rebound. He is going to have a bright future—but I was a fan of his.

I can't be the only one emphasizing all of the past tense verbs in that quote when reading through it.

He was a fan.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports
Hibbert also looked down on the wayDrummond played, frustrated by the physicality and the way Drummondmade him engage in physical battles on almost every trip down the court.

But as NBC Sports' Dan Feldmanexplained, why bother running your mouth after the game? Let the play on the court do the talking, because you're letting Drummond win by acknowledging his trash talk and physical play. "Knowing he botheredHibbert will only keep Drummond on this track," Feldman wrote, and he's completely right.

You know who else is well aware of this?

Drummond, who acknowledged—per Foster—that Hibbert "needs to get used to it." And it's true. Can you imagine how Hibbert would react to playing against Michael Jordan, Larry Bird or Gary Payton? With them in his ear, he would have been extremely distracted.

Did Hibbert make a mistake by opening his mouth?
In fact, I'll take it one step further thanFeldman did.

By acknowledging that he wasn't a fan of Drummond's motor mouth,Hibbert just opened himself up to a world of trash-talking throughout the 2013-14 campaign. It would be shocking if opposing centers kept their mouths closed from this point forward.

At the end of the day, though, Hibbertcan fire back with the ultimate silencer: "We're undefeated."

:bryan:Hibbert sit yo slu footed ass down somewhere

Drummond must have been saying some foul shyt because Hibbert isn't shy about mixing it up and getting physical so that couldn't have been the problem. :dead: @ "get used to it".

yeah they were going back and forth, seemed to effect Hibbert's game offensively at the time. I noticed Drum has had an edge to him lately due to the refs not giving him a fair one so far this season, hopefully it's just a hazing so he can get those preferential Hibbert calls in the future. Dude gets away with a lot of fouls in the paint.

I expected struggles early but I can't stand to keep losing games with bynum, singler, stuckey in game and billups is done. Cant guard the perimeter, shoot the three, or guard 3pt shooters. Curry and Thompson are going to go off tonight if they dont change something. Like what I saw from monroe, drummond, and jennings tonight. KCP needs to play. If singler and billups aint knocking down shots they dont need to be on floor, neither can guard anyone

the billups signing was so pointless :snoop:

I think the billups signing was good. Mo is just trying to use him in the wrong way. The team needs a veteran presence on the bench, locker room and in clutch situations. Billups is a champion. He sucked/was injured for the Clippers. But there is an interview where Chris Paul says CB helped improve his game. If one of the best Point guards in the league can say that, imagine what the 2nd tier talent that Detroit has can/will say.

I think Bynum was the worse signing of the 2. I wish he was traded, and that Siva could get spot minutes.

I agree, but lets remember that GiGi and BJ were injured for the whole preseason and really the team has only played 3 games(?) full strength. Our defense sucks. everyone keeps harping on our offense, But we are consistently scoring 100 points. The only problem is our opponents are scoring 100 and some change. That is not Detroit Basketball... matter of fact, Its not winning basketball for any team. that and Mo seems to not know what he is doing at times.
