I feel only Drummond is set in stone for future. I have no idea what team will do with monroe. Smart and Randle outside of Wiggins, parker, Embied and Exum have most value. Not a fit on current roster but could be future all stars imo. Drafting for need will end up getting rodney hood or mcdermott caliber players.

Which is why we should trade down or S&T Monroe.

Pistons need the best talent they can get. Trading down would not achieve that

Randle and Smart has too much bust potential. Detroit needs shooters and defenders. Trading down for two picks would allow us some roster flexibility.

Randle or Stauskas & Payne? Cleanthony Early and Zach LaVine? KJ McDaniels and James Young? You going to go with the latter pairs, right?

It might not be a bad idea in this draft. Right now Phoenix has the 14th and 17th picks in the draft with a lot of players still available who would fit what Detroit needs. Guys like Ennis, Hood, Stauskas, Early, and Payne will probably be there in the mid-round.

I don't know if it's feasible to trade Monroe before the draft since he's a RFA, but another late first could possibly net Shabazz Napier.

They'd be better off with two or three of those guys vs just Gary Harris or whoever else they'd take with a single pick.

You know, at first I was thinking ain't no way I'm trading that pick, then I started to think about the projected players around that area and realized I really don't like any of them. I do like the potential of some of those combos more than I like the potential of the individuals around the 7-8 area. Now if they can move up a few more spots, which is very possible (but knowing this team they more likely to play themselves out of the pick) then we really talking bout some interesting possibilities.

I don't watch enough college basketball to disagree or agree about the players y'all naming. Never seen most of em play. Who are the top point guards for this years draft?

Dumars really fukked up the Monroe situation. Shoulda dealt him last year, now they're gonna be pigeon holed into only dealing with teams that can afford to pay him. Free agency starts in July, so unless Monroe signs his tender in june which he won't they not gettin a pick this year for him. Hopefully get somebody with a pulse and a 2015 first rd cause bobcats will have ours.

This is the first year ive paid attention to obvious tanking. I didnt know cle went on a 10-0 run to win :bryan:

I was watching Jazz Grizz last night seeing Utah winning the entire game until the end. it's like they ball out until its time to lose, it's crazy to watch this shyt.

Realistically the Pistons can fall below Sac and LAL and end up in the 6th spot. Thank you New Orleans and Waiters for going on win streaks.

knowing the Pistons though, they'll still finish 9th :snoop:
