Pistons have tried every kind of coach possible since larry brown. Why not go to collage ranks?
Flip, cheeks, franks: retread
Kuester, loyer: lifetime assistants
Recent former player: curry
Unless they can get hollins or a van gundy, i wouldnt mind izzo. Hoiberg is the college coach i would personally be after. But izzo is a defensive coach who emphasizes rebounding and playing the right way. All that screaming he does might be a problem in nba but the core of this team is still very young and still need to learn a lot. And there are rumors that Izzo is growing tired of recruiting after the whole jabari parker courting failure. And if this team doesnt win this year, msu has to go into a rebuilding mode, Unless harris and payne decide to come back

He's a college coach. They all go through some up and down years. Doesn't mean their gonna run off to the league. He's had the opportunity several times and hasn't made the jump. I don't think this is the golden opportunity that he can't pass up.

Bruh I was mad as hell in the car when josh hit 2 triples and made it like 77-61. Turned the radio in disgust and was contemplating what kind of filthy profanity laced tweets to send to platinum equity

Got home checked bleacher report app and they up
One, I had to turn it on quickly to see who would hit the shot for the cavs

I was hoping for a varejo tipped dunk on Monroe but waiters hit it

Just need Sacramento to beat NYK. Lakers in our sights. Need cushion in case some team outside of top eight gets a top 3 pick.

Marcus smart makes sense if he drops, only lakers and magic might need pg but exum will go before smart. Keep Chauncey around to mentor him, due to similar build. Smart can be what we thought stuckey was going to become.

Randle might drop. We could let Monroe walk.

Parker or wiggins no-brainer if pistons get into top 3

And @eastside313 I pretty much did the same thing except it was with this thread instead of bleacher report. I saw it had been upped and figured everybody was bytchin about them winning meaningless games once again and ruining chances for a lotto pick. Was reading the post liWE LOST?!!

New Izzo rumors
Considering payne, appling, and harris will all be gone and new recruiting class is nothing special. Gores is a MSU guy. And Izzo will get a long leash due to his history in the state of michigan. Why not?
Would be good for dre and moose. Turn dre into elite defender and play through moose properly on offensive end. ANd he is the kind of coach to get in jennings/smith face for doing stupid shyt. Hopefully smith is moved though. Always weary of college coaches to NBA but if Izzo is going to make the jump, now would be the best time.

Jennings and Smith would be benched after the first 5 minutes and would never see positive minutes again



but Izzo should/is going to stay where he is at though


the Pistons/Gores go after someone else.

I feel only Drummond is set in stone for future. I have no idea what team will do with monroe. Smart and Randle outside of Wiggins, parker, Embied and Exum have most value. Not a fit on current roster but could be future all stars imo. Drafting for need will end up getting rodney hood or mcdermott caliber players.
