A lot of good foreign movies and TV shows on Netflix. So, if you like that stuff. Then, you should sign up. Take the free trial at least.

Sometimes, they do take stuff off instant, though. I was  when they took Naoki Ursawa's Monster series off of there. I was halfway through that and that shyt just vanished off instant.

it will be back.

I was :dwillhuh: when some of ques came back

Depends on your living situation.

I'm not paying for Netflix, not because I don't see the value, but because my fiance's mom lets us use her account. I just recently got put on, "navigating" the internet... prior to this new way of thinking, my navigating skills were :flabbynsick:

After the megaupload buildings being crushed, I was wondering around like a lost puppy, looking for a home.

:to:

Netflix is good for my girl, it's good if I have people over and just need to throw some shyt on.

The pic quality is piff, but best believe you can find great pic quality with downloads.

I completely cut the cord for TV, but I honestly don't need it, and don't ever see myself paying for it again with the sources that I have. Free Netflix, Free HBOGo, whatever bullshyt is on Amazon Instant Video, and by "navigating" the internet, I get to watch everything I want to watch, without commercials.

Netflix is worth it just for the reasons people have mentioned, and especially for saving HDD space. If you're getting HD rips...

:whew:

you're going to need a shyt load of space. Netflix you just need a good connection.

For me, nah. I was considering getting a sub to NetFlix, but once I found solid sites to stream (or download) shows and movies (both current and from the past) that have great quality I was glad I didn't. I've actually been spending the last 2-3 weeks catching up on the first seasons on Game of Thrones and Homeland because I never watched those shows before season 2.

Most of these sites are real good at having shows up in great quality, and for current shows are pretty quick at updating with the latest episodes. Case in point, the latest ep of Boardwalk Empire was up about 20 mins after it broadcast on HBO.

So if you can "navigate", spend that 9 bucks a month on something else.

Just my $.02.

Yes. It's crazy cheap for what you get. Even though you can get any movie/show on the net by Pirating.. there's stuff on netflix that is just so convenient. I'd never go out of my way to download episodes of certain shows they have on there, but the option to just click a button and watch the shyt gives you a wider option of stuff to watch when bored and looking for something new and different to watch.

That said, I don't pay for it, cause I use a friends account.

The main advantage with Netflix is that I've gotten put on to random shows that I never would have watched just by randomly going through the selection. When I'm downloading free shyt (not that I do :mjpls:) I'm always looking for something specific so I never really get into random shows/movies because of that.

Besides, it's only eight fukking dollars for the month, man. You'd find $8 in change lying around on the street in a month.

What the hell is Piff? :ohhh:

I use to have Netflix and if i was going to cut the cable cord it would probably be useful. If you have an HTPC Netflix is totally useless...HTPC, laptop with hdmi out or Media Box)roku, boxee, etc..) + Home Server = :win: Download movies and shows in any file format and :eat: Obviously you have to get your codecs game together but thats easy. fukk i look like spending nearly $100 a year when i already pay good money for this cable internet. I'll concede the point that Netflix is convenient, but seriously how long does it take to download stuff? What i can't find to download i hit up the local video store or Redbox and have a full blu rip in no time.

Honestly I keep it because it gives my wife some stuff to watch. I have found out about some shows I would know nothing about because of it though.

Like some others have said if you are only looking for specific things then it may not be worth it. If you're open to surprises then Netflix is good for the occasional :mindblown: occurrence.
