For those who know how to navigate the internet....is Netflix worth it?

I haven't downloaded any movies like that (since 2006-2008...axxo days). Now I'm more about quality than anything. I have an hdtv and I want hd content. Rips are usually quite speckled, even the bdrips. I just rather have netflix and search for stuff I've never seen. Watched all seasons of lost in 2 weeks, finished up 24 and now I'm watching breaking bad. I love netflix. Whenever they get new content streaming, it's a wrap (for me atleast) of downloading movies from the net. I currently just go to redbox to get new releases. I don't even download much anymore.....like I said, the prime years for me were those above. I kinda grew out of it....even though I still have that project x on my pc that I haven't watched yet

I download Piff as well and still have a netflix account.

There are some TV series that are a buttfukk to download but then Netflix has them up already.

For example I was asking about The Tudors and The Borgias TV shows. I was getting ready to download both series but a coli breh told me The Tudors was on Netflix

shyt saved me time and HDD space.

IMO it is worth it if you barely watch TV, missed out on some back in the day shyt, or can't be bothered to download EVERYTHING you're interested in.

Its easier. Idgaf about how many torrents or newsgroups or whatever people have...netflix is consistent, varied, better quality (instantly) and if you dont just watch shyt alone or dont want ti spend time finding content, netflix is better. Imo, its worth 8 bucks.

I know how to get whatever I want off the net, but the ease of netflix easily trumps having to get on the torrents. I use the internet for new shyt. and netflix for shyt I wanna catch up on. and for $8 a month, why not?

I had the month preview and I'm not gonna lie, I thought long and hard.

I got carried away by too many options, and laziness. I made the (good) decision of not renewing. If you know what you want to watch, you can download it easy. If not, you can watch the mediocre movies on display, and some decent TV series.

Found myself queuing too many mediocre things because.. there wasn't anything better. Just a bunch of "oh this looks decent" but never I WANT TO WATCH THAT *click*

A lot people said that Netflix isn't good for recent movies. It's best for stuff you missed out on, series you can't be assed to download and foreign movies. Take a stroll into the netflix queue thread breh

I thought it was useless at one point, but now I use it to catch up on older seasons of shows I haven't watched yet. I was able to watch all but the last season of Breaking Bad without commercial interruption. It also saves the last place you watched, so that when you log in, you can just press play and you are right where you left off. No searching or trying to remember which season and episode you left off on.

A lot of good foreign movies and TV shows on Netflix. So, if you like that stuff. Then, you should sign up. Take the free trial at least.

Sometimes, they do take stuff off instant, though. I was when they took Naoki Ursawa's Monster series off of there. I was halfway through that and that shyt just vanished off instant.
