you USA probably?

in the UK we dont wear jeans and spaceboot looking sneakers got more style than that.(anyone that does is a basketball head using public transport and basketball heads are rare here)

if someones in sneakers they are wearing a form of sweats. thats the standard.

Ahh the UK, now it makes sense. When I stayed in LDN for a couple of months, I was wondering why nikkas was out there wearing dress shoes every damn where lol. I can fukk with it tho, it’s like a reverse of what Black folks was wearing back in the mid 20th century. Just replace the suits with today’s smart casual look but keep the dress shoes :ehh:

Sneakers just part of the game and culture over here tho :manny:

Agreed OP. I noticed how goofy it looked when perusing an article about the ESPY awards:

Not one person in that entire post is fly. Only one's who almost get a pass is dude with the Gucci shoes suit is fitting correct. His effeminate hair mess up the look. The last guy with the blue suit is clean also but them shoes threw it all off. Paul Pierce standing like R2D2. He should have just worn a whole suit. From the waist down he look crazy.

The Truth
A full suit, of course not..:comeon:

With a sport coat and jeans/casual slacks, yes..
But depends on the sneaker in question as well.
This

Thats what i thought it was. Just a casual sports coat and slacks with a plain collar shirt... not sure the issues with some low top or casual dress shoe

oh fo sho!

AA had the most influential style till this day! its just that times moved on i mean in the 1980s with the "paid in full crowd" them youngings looked good with fitted jeans and their sneakers. its just fashion has pushed forward and infact the reception to what certain people wear have altered basically here the sneaker look represents a casual approach to life, its always worn with sweats so the person isnt doing many things productive. etc.

it makes sense the love for the sneaker game even jerry sienfield, kamala harris, etc ... were on complex sneaker shopping show. its just i think wearing them outside of sweats/joggers the look is tier 2 or 3 can never be a top ranking look especially after a certain age.

dope thread.

Suits that aren't black and with a full tie are always tacky and corny.

-Guess I'm in the minority here. I have absolutely no problem with wearing sneakers with suits as long as they match up right. I have a green 3 piece suit I wear with a tie & solid Black air max.
-I have a few slip-ons that go with specific outfits. I don't currently own any dress shoes or plan on buying any. I wear sneakers with the few jeans I have.
-I never wear pants that go above the ankle.

-I can admit I see plenty brehs wearing ridiculous looking shyt to me.
