Horrible fukking trade, was a salary dump. Could've offered Bruce a QO and if he accepts you know what you're getting and if not you get a sandwich pick between the 1st and 2nd round. Instead we get the Indians 30th round pick in 2016 who has an almost 5 ERA in single A.

It's a bad trade, it's almost as bad as the Wagner trade. You offer him the QO and if he rejects you get a sandwich pick between the 1st and 2nd round. If he accepts you get 30 home runs and a .800 plus ops. This is a really bad trade and reeks of the coupons trying to save moneyWish we got more but
I don't think you automatically get a pick if he declines the offer tho. I thought I read something about it depending on whether the deal he signs is $50mil+ or something like that.
