This team will struggle all season long. Its crazy to think that a month and a half into the season and this team has already lost all its top players and are practically out of it. It'll take 2-3 months for them to come back, and another 2-3 weeks for them to get it going.

What yall brehs think about moving Walker and Bruce at the deadline?

assuming they're out of it, feels like a no-brainer.

What has this team shown you that the next month will be any better?

Our SP is decimated, our bullpen is overworked, and we have no more viable arms left.
No one is trading right now so you can't improve yourself.

The best scenario is they stay 2-3 games over or under 500 through all star break and see if Cespedes/Conforto/Bruce can carry you and hope that Harvey gets it back (one year after TOS surgery), DeGrom gets control back, Noah comes back, and Matz gets out of the hyperbolic time chamber.

A month and a half... Bullpen already cooked, starters cooked, offense missing, confidence zero, urgency zero. Salvage the season, bring up any young talent, keep playing Bruce and Walker and move them at the deadline. Hopefully a team in contention gets desperate and we catch a prospect or two.
