Breh, Wright was elite as recently as 2013. Had two great years back to back, he was perfectly capable of being elite without Beltran and Delgado. Injuries are what did him in. He would have had 3 20+ homer years at citi if he stayed healthy. This is the guy who hit 300 with 75 extra base hits for three years in a row in his prime lets not act like he wasn't a stud.

That said... If he's hurt yet again, already, he's probably done

2012-2013 he had a .900 OPS which is elite. And hit about 20 homers both years while missing time which aka slowed by injuries.

In 2012 in particular he was one of the most productive position players in baseball so yeah he was elite.

He was only good when he had Beltran and Delgado with him after that he has never been worthy of any franchise tag only reason he was tagged because baseball writers hated the Los Mets and he was white and talks like Michael Jackson

Nah your wrong wright had nothing to do with Murphy Mets didn't want to pay Murphdog so Murph took a wack ass deal from washington which he probably mad about cuz if he would have taken the one yr offer from the mets and had the season he had last yr with his playoff performance he would have gotten 22 mil a yr

Yo but most exciting thing about this spring so far for me, conforto is hitting lefties and Travis is hitting everybody right now. I think the 2 of them are the key to this offense on the low. Cespedes is gonna hit his 30+ hr and granderson, Cabrera, and Walker can hit 20-25 each. If conforto and Travis can add another 20 each and duda is healthy enough to add something to that, our offense will be fine.

Now I just need my gunslingers to stay healthy please God
