yeah i guess i would just stay on the beach. Hoepfully most of their prey is in the jungle, and they have no reason to come out to the beach. No way i would set foot in that jungle 
The snakes should be easy to identify in the sand during the day, but at night, that when shyt gets real
I'd stay awake the first 24 hours there, to make sure the snakes aint coming to the beach. IF i dont see one during the day, i'd sleep during the day and stay alert at night

only if the cabin has air tight sealed doors and windows and their is so much food i would not need to leave...the problem is something real basic and necessary in the architecture of the building will allow a snake inside...shyt could crawl through the ventilation
....or through the pipes
...or through the toilet...considering the family that died lived in a lighthouse...which is elevated yet the snakes made it through
...who is to say me with my cabin sitting on ground zero will survive lmaoo...ill need the following to guarantee survival
1. Mongoose...atleast 3
2. Airtight sealed cabin
3. food to last me one week
4. flamethrower/machete
