I had it 116-114 Canelo, before the decision came in
...Golovkin had more punch-activity throughout the fight, so if you valued that then I could see why you could give GGG the fight. FOR ME, I valued more punch-effectiveness, which I feel Canelo had the edge in.
So it depends on what you as a boxing fan value more...do you choose more punch volume, and score each punch as points even if some punches weren't as effective? Or do you take more effective punches, but less volume?
Since Canelo was the smaller man, I gave it to him because he was the stalker with, what I felt, were more effective punches. Had it been the other way around and Canelo was more active with less effective punching, and it was GGG stalking with more effective punches I would give it to GGG.
