I had it 116-114 Canelo, before the decision came in

...Golovkin had more punch-activity throughout the fight, so if you valued that then I could see why you could give GGG the fight. FOR ME, I valued more punch-effectiveness, which I feel Canelo had the edge in.

So it depends on what you as a boxing fan value more...do you choose more punch volume, and score each punch as points even if some punches weren't as effective? Or do you take more effective punches, but less volume?

Since Canelo was the smaller man, I gave it to him because he was the stalker with, what I felt, were more effective punches. Had it been the other way around and Canelo was more active with less effective punching, and it was GGG stalking with more effective punches I would give it to GGG.

right now I'd pick him against Charlo, Derevyanchenko, Jacobs and Murata

Andrade and BJS are the toughest ones to him styleswise, but even there I think I'd favour Canelo due to big fight experience and adaptability

The point I'm making is that plenty of people who know what they're talking about, either from boxing professionally, following the sport for decades, or from training, don't think Canelo won the fight.

Most Canelo supporters are in here acting like you don't know what you're talking about if you didn't score it for Canelo. In a close fight like this, that in itself is a mark of ignorance because an educated observer would focus on the substantive points and would be able to see the different perspectives on a fight.
