from the 30s till 50s it was arguably even worse when fight fixing was still big and the mob controlled plenty of fighters
Now THAT was corrupted but boxing thrived nevertheless and was full of talent

If boxing would do so bad companies wouldn't fill hundreds of millions in it

GGG is a great fighter of his era
With that said Canelo beat him tonight in his own game

GGG will probably become HOF either way even if he call it a day tomorrow, he proved himself as a true elite guy in my eyes, he isn't the one to blame for not having tougher challenges in his division for a long time or the few he had avoided him. With that said I would have liked to see him moving up just once at least when 168 was better compared to 160.
Hats off to GGG but Canelo was the better fighter tonight

i scored fight 115-113 ggg;canelo got the decision..it is what it is
it was a close ass BRUTAL fight..no robbery
judges did a good job all things considered..no scores that made me go
THIS IS A FOTY CANDIDATE!!! THE FIGHT OF THE YEAR!! may rival hurd-lara or overtake it by years end
Canelo fought a lot better like a nikka with aztec blood is supposed..i have no complaints on how he fought
both have great chins and inflicted heavy damage
GGG you will never knock out...what he stood up to and dished out was amazing to me..Triple Gawd
160 is the new marquee division in boxing
the undercard were full of fades as i expected and said
chocolatito needs to be brought along more slow..1-2 soft touches
HBO fukked up the PPV flow..the slow spots made me drink

GREAT fight...fight of the year for sure. We saw the 2 best middle weights in the world Sat night. I had GGG winning a close decision, but this verdict doesn't bother me like the first fight's decision did. Canelo is a true King and continues to surpass my expectations of him. Hes not to be questioned any longer. Hes a Great. Him stalking GGG was unexpected. I dont believe there will be a third fight but if there is, Canelo wins more convincingly. GGG will be 37 by that time & and wont have enough in the tank. Cant help but feel bad for him tho, as he deserved the decision in the first fight & the second to a lesser degree. Great fight overall. And btw, this Canelo def beats Jacobs.
