Personally I think GGG did get robbed because he controlled most of the second half of the fight and kept it even the first half. And he had Canelo wobbling for a while - was definitely close to a knockout but Canelo is tough as shyt and had a hell of a chin. Both guys were warriors but GGG deserved that W

lol, there was no point in that fight where either guy was close to getting KO'd. I think you are getting gassed off that sequence when GGG landed a great shot on Canelo and then he proceeded to make GGG miss with every shot after that using upper body and head movement...all while Lampley was screaming like a fangirl thinking GGG was unloading on him.

ring control in the context people are using to justify this as a win for canelo is bullshyt. call him a great counter puncher, say he didn't allow GGG to fight at his pace, you could even say he was completely undamaged - all fair

but ring control? 'stalking'? that was a outstanding battle for range. don't cheapen it. and to go further, that narrative of body damage died the moment the receipts came back on those body shots and GGG had enough of a second wind to infight with Canelo and win exchanges.
