Thats just a guy talking out of his ass. Hayward would guarantee the Heat the ETC. The Heat are not a bad team. A combination of Hayward/Whiteside/Dragic with our bench can win tons of games. I would have personally preferred Danilo/Waiters/JJ. Also we got some good young players to.

I didn't take it as him saying the Heat are a bad team but rather giving a big contract to Hayward now would f*ck us in the future. Boston has the picks/assets to replace their "star" players when they get old or pursue free agency.

The Heat have no choice, they don't have future cap space. They can't hold money unless Tyler Johnson's contract which jumps to 19 mill next year. The Nets fukked us.
