he'll never be the scorer Butler is. his jumper way too broken for that. small forward version of Draymond Green. 15/7/6 maybe 2 steals and a block a game. and if he can get his FG% up to 46, 3P% up to 35, and FT% up to 70%. that would be a win for Miami
We will see who is right but I would definitely take those numbers

Honestly, I'd be very happy if we could get one or two more picks in this draft.

Something like Donavan Mitchell at 14 would be great. Grab a Caleb Swanigan or Deonte Burton as complimentary pieces to develop. E

Move TJ and McRoberts, have Ellington sign for cheaper, and resign JJ/Waiters

Dragic/Mitchell
Waiters/Richardson/Ellington
Winslow/McGruder/White
JJ/Burton
Whiteside/Swanigan

TYRONE GA!
It feels like cats are forgetting how Winslow was looking prior to messing up his wrist early last year. Maybe it's because we haven't seen him play in so long we done forgot how much skill he really has :ld: I dont know what it is, but he should surprise folks with the low expectations

nikka took like 5 steps breh :dahell:

Shot 41% from 3 though

:heh:

How well did that translate to his shooting and FT shooting now? Lots of decent to good looking 3 point shooters in college don't pan out as good three point shooters in the NBA.

How you gonna shyt on OG when he's pretty much a bigger Winslow with less playmaking but more defensive potential? :scust:

OG was looking legit before his injury. I still wouldn't take him over Mitchell but I can easily see why he'd be great pick for us. All that being said, I'd take this nikka over him.

-That ballhandling and vision
-that shooting stroke and quick release
-Defensive versatility
-Dude looks just like JJ to me

Getting Mitchell and a guy like Burton or Thornwell would be PERFECT for us :blessed:

Stanley Johnson 2.0 Either way we wont be drafting him so I'm not worried

I'm not too big on OG coming here. He's similar to Justise, longer and more athletic, but Justise is a better defender, playmaker and better IQ. Also, as bad as Justise's jumper may be, OG's is worse. Not even really basing it off of percentages just the way it looks, OG's looks more broken. Not to mention he's coming off the acl injury. I know a lot of people come back like new from acls but with someone whose game is almost entirely based off athleticism that worries me. Even if you're someone that thinks OG has higher potential than Justise, which I am not, the difference wouldn't be big enough to justify getting someone so similar to what they already have when there are other directions they could go.

Mitchell seems like he would be the best option, but I fear that he'll be gone by the time we pick. John Collins is good, but I don't see him as a good fit at the 4 next to Whiteside and he seems like he would be better suited as a small ball 5. So if you want to think of him as Whiteside's eventual replacement and Reed's current replacement that's fine, but given the chance to pick between Mitchell and Collins, I'd take Mitchell.

Watch Justise start jumping out the gym next season. Hes athletic but he has bad footwork.

He will be 2017 Kawhi Level, maybe better.
Certain things aren't that easy to change at this point, breh
:francis:
He can't jump. I been saying this the whole time.

It takes a lot of effort for him to get above the rim, period. When he gets a running start he can get up there but thats about it.

At best he's a Jamal Mashburn type jumper because his lower body is heavy. He needs to exploit that by developing his midrange and back to the basket game so people will respect him beyond 15 feet which would then allow him to burn them with that quick step of his driving to the hole. Or else he'll be a role player most of his career.

The only way we get any of those picks is by breaking up the "core"(Whiteside, Dragic) :manny:

With that said, I wouldn't trip about this draft, most of the players in our range likely won't amount to starters much less above average players. On Thursday don't stress and try to be positive about whomever the Heat get.

You never know what you'll get. Scouts jobs are to find those hidden gems. Our best player was a former 2nd round pick :yeshrug:
