Meanwhile, someone is getting seriously hurt in just about every football game. Look at the injury reports, which are always understated in the first place. Listen to the pregame shows, always with guys who couldn't practice in midweek waiting on "injections" to see if they can play on Sundays.
Or just compare the average physical condition after their playing days.
the spleen incident with the high school football player was a freak accident. You had no problem dapping and referencing that story. Even if it is the case that all of these are freak accidents, the footballers still died on the pitch. How is that any different?
You're all for switching to soccer but the fact is, plenty of footballers have died on the pitch or died due to injuries related to playing. This is indisputable.
Grown men play in the nfl. They are consenting adults. If players know the risk and elect to play, what's your issue?

I'm not disputing the dangers involved with football. I played and know them first hand. The fact of the matter is, however, if you choose to play a sport, any sport, you are taking a risk. Every consenting adult or parent deserves to make a decision about whether or not that risk is worth it to them.
