This isn't bad, especially in this dead period of sports right after the Super Bowl and before the NBA playoffs gear up :ehh:

I'm hoping in the next couple years they're able to snag more young guys straight outta school. Guys who were on pre-season rosters, but couldn't snag even a practice squad spot. I know I would love to see some SC bruhs who couldn't latch on in the L get another look

These Jerseys are Keanu Reeves Replacements level though :russ:

They should have played off local teams in the area color scheme wise

I agree. I hope they aren't too quick to try and expand and add more teams. I'd probably keep it at 8 teams for another season and then add another 2 teams after seeing how the interest is and also how the XFL does too.

I like how this is positioned to end right after the NFL draft too so these players can get a call after the draft and have enough time to heel up before the summer.

Damn just seen Trenton Thompson from Georgia out there...dude was the #1 recruit outta HS in 2015 and only 22 years old at DT. Hope this works out for bruh. Here's a breakdown of their contracts...

"
League co-founder Bill Polian, an ESPN NFL analyst, said the league will give players three-year, non-guaranteed contracts worth $250,000 each.

Players can leave the league, which is set to kick off Feb. 9, to go to the NFL. Polian said it's currently unclear whether a player's rights will revert back to the AAF after a three-year period expires or if the clock stops ticking on a team's three-year rights when a player gets "called up" to the big time.

Salaries will be in line with AAF competitor the XFL, which has said it will pay players an average of $75,000 per season. That league launches in 2020."

Yeah that's not too bad of a Salary, considering its for probably 3 months of work. Most of these bruhs can probably be personal trainers/coaches for the remainder of the year. Easliy be in the Coli 6 figures club

I also think what's going to really attract people to the league is by leaning in on NCAA loyalties. So always mentioning a players college and what nfl team they may have signed with in the past will make people care about the league.

they were smart to put guys on teams near their alma mater
